I didn't think to defrost the mahi-mahi in my freezer in time to make a celebratory meal tonight. Suppose I'll order out, and wash whatever the meal is down with blood orange soda to toast Twitler's long-overdue departure.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

I'm feeling really tired. Kind of like 4+ years of tension have started to ease and the muscles involved are saying, "we're done for now, thanks."
We had the last session of an ongoing game today since all the players are federal employees and had the day off...which means I have to get in 8 hours of work starting now, I guess. Just knowing the inauguration was happening was a balm to my soul.

I honestly think that's why I have a migraine. The massive shift in my level of tension, and worry, and rage has left my head all askew.
Whatever other noteworthy things there were about the Inauguration, for visuals, even surpassing VP Harris' purple coat and dress, Dr. Biden's blue coat and dress, and FFL Obama's plum (or possibly burgundy) pants outfit and floor length coat, all yummy, was Poet Amanda's outfit. Centered in the background carpet of red-bordered blue, her brilliant red headpiece and daffodil-sunshine-full of hope yellow coat, the visual was perfect. The poem was awesome, too. But that image of her just, at the moment, sums up my spirits for the first time in four long, crimson-streaked grey years.
I forced myself to go to the pharmacy even though I Did Not Want to, and as I was arriving home, I realized I didn't get allergy meds -- the one thing on my list that was underlined and in bold because I run out of it tomorrow.
Shrift, I would give you some allergy meds (I feel like I have them ALL), except I'm over here.
Oh no, shrift! I hate when that happens. Which is like every time I go to the store for one must have thing.
I have a ton of other allergy meds in my medicine cabinet, just not the ones I take daily. My current plan is run to the store early tomorrow before my meetings start, and starchy, potato-based comfort foods shall be my reward.
Good plan
