My MIL has been having a lot of trouble sleeping, mostly from restless leg
Is she taking meds for restless leg syndrome? Because that would be the first place to start.
She is The Worst when it comes to taking any medication, hence her doctor suggested the gummies as an option. Although the doctor didn't actually suggest anything in particular. Seriously, so many of her issues could be handled with meds but her list of arguments is long, and annoying. Her family is tired of trying to talk her into it, but since she seems willing to try the gummies we are jumping on it.

That is SO frustrating! Sheesh.

In that case, a good starting dose of CBD for sleep is 25 mg.
Is it definitely restless leg syndrome proper? Because I'm pretty sure the magnesium I started taking as a sleep aid also helps me avoid the foot and leg cramps that plague my family at night. (I still get some, but not terrible)
Magnesium is also a recommended supplement for migraines, apropos of nothing specific.
I'll try and sneak anything into her! My BIL cooks a lot for her. We are going to see what we can sneak into her food for supplements. He cooks a lot of Bahamian dishes with rice and veggies and soups and stews so it is easy to add anything. Since she says she will take gummies they do have melatonin with magnesium as an option.
I don't know what's legal in your/her state, Laura, but the guys at MedMen say that even if you aren't looking for a high, a *little* THC makes the CBD work better. I buy a tincture, and sometimes gummies, to help with my back/tailbone pain. I always get the lowest dose of THC I can find (my current go-to tincture is 30:1 CBD:THC). And if she's anything like me, the THC will also promote sleepiness.
BTW, I have two more bluesky codes if anyone wants them.
Epic, I'm going to look into that option while I am still in New York because it isn't going to be an option in Florida.
