Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

Our wings are not tired

We had some hedges that were waiting to be returned to a prop shop. So we will need to pay replacement cost on those.

I’m waiting on a sheriff deputy to make a report, and we have already done initial contact with insurance. The trailer was new in 2013 and I suspect our coverage is fair market value not replacement cost so I don’t expect to get much.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh, ND! I'm so sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, ND! That sucks.

Thank you so much for checking in, Shir. Hang in there. I can't even imagine.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I’m sorry, ND.

I’m so tired of being in this hotel, especially now that Mr. S is back. No privacy, and he doesn’t go to bed that early. Dammit, I want to have dessert.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugh, ND. That really sucks.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

The news out of Israel is so horrific. Shir and Nilly, please stay safe and thank you for checking in when you can.

Swouncing

Timelies!

Among all the checking-you're-OK texts and phones I try to do, I've texted our beloved Shir, and in her response, she said something about checking in daily here, so let y'all know that she's OK, and added that she's considerate enough to let you know that me and my family are OK, as well.

Now, it seems so selfish to me, to drop in here, in the middle of all the ongoing conversations (which I, alas, again had to skip, and break my lately-developing skimming habit), just to post a short meMeME and then *poof* disappear again, and do so on a regular basis.

But Shir is wiser and kinder than me, because if I had known a person in a warzone, that's exactly what I'd wished them to do, even if I wouldn't want to nag.

So, um, timelies. I'm as OK as it's possible to be under the circumstances, and you're all in my heart and thoughts and wishes, and I have to log off now.

(It's almost like "Good night, Westly. Good work. I'll most likely try to post again in - my timezone - tomorrow morning". No, it didn't work well with the quote as I'd hoped. Sigh.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm very glad to see you here, Nilly, and to get Shir's updates.

Please be safe.
