Hivemind- I am looking for a crochet bed jacket pattern to make for Maria’s mom. crafts are my love language. Is there anything else this could be called for a search term? I keep turning up Impossibly vintage patterns that are way too complicated. I looked on revelry and google. Do I just want a shrug? I am willing to pay for the pattern, but not a scan of a 1940s newspaper article from Australia that I will find super complicated to pull off. I just want her to have a pretty thing to pull on for visitors to make her feel like she is not always in her nightgown!

Sophia, there are a fair few tutorials on YouTube that might work for you. I just searched "youtube crochet bed jacket" and there are 3 or so that I feel comfortable trying as a crochet newbie.

Good to know, dcp. My real worry is that if I can’t get it finished while I’m thinking about it it’ll never get done, and that gives me a date to remind myself to think about it again.
