PS: I still have not had proper nachos but I did have chips with queso and guac for lunch.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I was about to ask if Matilda wanted her scary goth auntie to do some (mild) hexing. Because I will do that for her.
Excuse me while I cackle with glee and anticipation, quietly.
Nora! I can’t count so I didn’t realize it was 50. Wild. And I’m glad you enjoyed that call. Buffistas tend to be high on the call list.
Ass ‘em in the ear, Jess.
No nachos here but I’m getting a blood draw done for work and there is an excellent cheesesteak place next to where I parked my car. But I think I’m going to go eat a sandwich at home, instead. The funds have run out for my Emotional Disaster Area and I have to make more responsible choices now.
Happy 50th, Nora!
I just got back from buying a shit ton of the new fall stuff at Trader Joe's. From time to time, I think that we really need a chest freezer. This is one of those times.
Tim had his last home PT appointment on Wednesday, and his last home OT appointment is today. His 6-week follow-up appointment is next week, and then he can start outpatient PT at the PT facility. Look at him, just making progress all over the place!
I still have not had nachos.
Oh! I’m halfway through A Hat Full of Sky, and I’m very pleased that the Terry Pratchett definition of a witch is something I can definitely relate and aspire to. Amazing the life lessons he’s built into these books. Wish I’d read them earlier, but maybe now is just the moment to uncork that particular literary vintage.
Oh shit, I forgot about nachos and had fish tacos instead. (Not sad about it, they were delicious)

JZ was in the middle of the Tiffany Aching books. I think Hat Full of Sky was the last one she read.
The Tiffany Aching books are some of my favorite books ever.
They are so good. I would forget between them how good they were and get to rediscover it with each one. I generally love the Discworld but Tiffany Aching is somehow more personal
Ow. I am still in a lot of pain post workout with trainer on Wednesday. Mostly my quads…which is kind of a problem living in a townhouse with lots of stairs!! Going up stairs hurts but going down stairs is even harder. Guess no dancing tonight, I wouldn’t make it!
Happy Birthday, Nora!!! I hope 50 is good to you.
