I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

As an aside, did you go to Anderson Mercy, or a different hospital?

They brought me to UC.

I am SO relieved to hear that! Anderson Mercy is where my dad has been taken for some heart stuff, and they SUCK.

Our wings are not tired.

So scary, Hil. Sending heart~ma!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The EMTs asked me if I had a preference about which hospital, and I said that I didn't, so I'm not sure how they decided, but everyone at UC was really great.

Punishingly Intricate

So glad you called 911 and got good care, Hil!

Hil, no having heart attacks! Glad you're doing better.

Yikes Hil, good thing you called 911.

Matt, one of the things they’re learning is that covid can really affect cardiovascular stuff so that may be part of why, sadly.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I had a heart attack

Yikes, Hil! I'm glad you called 911 and were able to get treatment.

David, if caring for my parents before they passed is any indication, the last few months will never go away, memory-wise. But they'll become part of the tapestry, and you'll be able to focus on the better parts again.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hello my loves. Monday is here again.

Health~ma and healing~ma to, checks notes everyone? But especially Hil and the Debet sprog.

It was a very big rollercoaster of a weekend, with the major bright spots being a long overdue massage on Friday (one of the best I’ve ever had) and a visit to the Abita Mystery House on Sat, which had me thinking about y’all nonstop and also turned into an impromptu wedding venue scouting. If you have it during business hours, it’s only $5/head but you may get some randos at the party. -t, did you ever make it out there?

My favorite of my mom’s brothers, who has briefly been in remission from prostate cancer that had mets to bones, wasn’t feeling well and they found a nodule on his liver. He’s also the executor of my grandfather’s estate, which still hasn’t been resolved 10 years on and involves selling his house. So, that’s fun.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

So glad you're OK, Hil! That sounds terrifying.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yikes, Hil! So glad you are home and okay

{{{Hec}}} You have a lot to cry about, my friend. I hope everyone around you at the airport and so forth is kind.
