Holy crap there is a miracle for my cousin's son J-- has relatives that were some how out of the loop of him being taken from his mother etc. But at one point (I'm not sure , apparently mom hasn't been keeping me in the loop about this) Mom was trying to text my cousin's ex girlfriend , Jennifer, and accidentally texted his cousin, Jennifer. And Jennifer the Cousin texted back and wanted details (or second cousin, honestly I'm not sure).

Anyway, the important part is that there are 2 cousins - one in CA and one in NC who have taken a huge interest in my cousin's son and the one in NC, C the Cousin, is a children's rights attorney, and she wants to have guardianship of J and have him live with her and her family (if he wants). She and her family have been going to FL to visit several times and they have a weekly online game of some kind.

AND! C the Cousin has been doing everything she can to pass all the background checks and do everything social services need and is doing her best to make sure that J can get cleared to visit them on Labor Day weekend so C and her family and J can go to DRAGON CON! I am so hopefully this will happen. The whole thing, that he will get to live with C and go to Dragon Con and have a family connection. The cousin and her family in CA also want him to visit and want to be a larger part of his life. My aunt was J's guardian but since she passed there is going to be a question of who and I'm hoping that will make it easier for C to step into that role.

I have photos, I think on an external drive, I've been trying to lay my hands on it. And I have physical pictures I need to find and I have to figure out where they are in storage. I think the physical pictures are from the DC F2F so there should be pictures of JZ there.

Did JZ have Theda Bara as a profile pic for a while? For some reason the news that a 30 second fragment of her Cleopatra was discover made me think of Jacqueline. [link]

I lost most of my old picture files in a laptop disaster some years ago, so I am so glad to have the opportunity to see other peoples archives.

We are on track to likely go home Saturday, which is conincidentally his due date. He passed hearing and car seat checks. It's basically just demonstrating stability and trying to broaden the array of positions he can confortably be in. He's gonna have a killer diaphragm by the time his larynx tightens up.

I don't think I took any JZ photos when we visited, but I will check.
