I've had some thoughts stewing in my head about JZ and I posted them on FB.

David, I sent an email to folks from the master list that I haven't seen around here or FB in a long time. I figure all of them probably have someone here who's closer (juliana - Lee, for example), but I'm not standing on formality, obviously.

I can stop in, but I won't be there right at the beginning. Won't miss it, though. Shir, I'm sure WWII is part of my grandma's thing too...and there was trauma in her family too.

I could let Karl know...we talk all the time.

David, absolutely DO NOT apologize for anything to us. You are doing so much to make JZ as comfortable right now AND keeping us updated. Know that you, Matilda, and Emmett are also in our thoughts and hearts.

No apologies necessary, bunk. I think Actual Mom worships you now(Although she doesn't really understand why I read stuff that makes me tear up so much...Team One Foot In Front Of The Other objects, but I'm not really on it.)

My “local dad,” friend, and mentor Bill has stage 4 cancer. I’m trying to visit him once a week. Hoping he gets to meet Robby tomorrow.

Side note: She's mentioned before doing a big Zoom call as we did for Amyth. Is that something we could set up?

I did organize the Zoom especially for Amyth (I saw Shir's comment and momentarily questioned my sanity, but I checked FB and it was indeed I who organized it), but I know others have set up other ones throughout the years. Thanks Bonnie, for setting this one up. I hope to make it! I am still so grateful for the time at Chez Smay on Saturday.
