I hope your hospice people are more useful than my moms. (She only had hospice for a couple days) And to be fair I think she would’ve preferred being in the hospital because at home she had to depend on us kids to help her go to the bathroom and move her and whatnot. But it is what it is, and I remain glad she didn’t suffer for too long, even if I’m still mad she only got diagnosed a few weeks before she passed. Better than sudden, though of course, still felt quite sudden. At least we got there and got to see her and so on.
In amusing news, I just got a delivery and was like “did I order something?” Since it was addressed to me. But I didn’t recognize the sender. So I opened it. And it’s vintage drinking glasses with like, 70s playboy models on them?! I had to text my friend who has been house sitting and say “did you order porno glasses??” Apparently she did. No idea why—she lives in a van. Maybe they’re a present for someone???
