meara, one time we had snow here in San Antonio right outside my window and I didn't realize until I turned on the TV and the local news had a Snow Special on.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Matt Gaetz is a garbage human.
are you camping in a tent in your backyard?
Hahahah no. I have a patio tent thing outside, like people put up for farmers markets or sports sidelines? Because it rains so much here but usually is more sprinkles rather than pouring. But the last tent broke in a storm and I just put the new one up a week or two ago.
Ah, got it!
I just got home from work (at the bakery I have no time to check any news, and rarely even my phone for texts), just like last Wednesday ... so I'm a little reluctant to turn on the TV.
Hugs to all who need/would like them, and yay to good news. That's pretty much all I got. Between work and managing Sara (who will be lucky if she graduates this spring, at this point) and managing my parents wants/needs, I've got shit-all left most days. But at least it's sunny today. It's been so relentlessly gray for more than a week, I was going a little nuts.
Got my pre-travel COVID test. no lines, straight in basically.
Now home and getting in comfy clothes for the rest of the day of plowing through emails and writing up step by step directions for everything I do.
I'm in a meeting that could not have been an email but that I don't need to be in. And yet I can't leave.
Amy, I send you solidarity as the mother of a senior. Casper managed to get a 36 in 2nd quarter English and failed two other things. I am now enforcing nightly homework at the dinner table and have access to her online assignment software so I can track what she’s turned in. She may need to be hard-carried across the finish line and I’m grateful to have the ability to do it.
I double-masked and took out my garbage and compost on the way to my COVID test. The Doctor tells me I should have results in less than 2 days, which is faster than I expected, so that's good.
An Australian Member of Parliament continues to think that my personal gmail address is hers, so I just got to write another round of correspondence disabusing people of that notion.
I mean if someone is going to mistake your Gmail at least it’s an interesting person? But yikes.
The good news for her is that she's mistakenly chosen to send her correspondence to an ethical person who cares about information security.
