Mom always called it "praying to the angel that finds things" so that's what I'm sending up for you.
I did this a lot with all the lost keys and things through the years.
I have therapy in 20 mins, which is good, I need it. It's telehealth because I feel like crap. I'm dealing with more anxiety about job hunting than I thought I would and I've been avoiding and procrastinating instead of dealing with things. I need to ...I don't know how to get out of this mind set I'm in. But hey,....therapist.
My aunt is back at rehab, not because she's doing better but because that's the only place she can go right now. They have I think 5 more days to find some place else for her to go. The assisted living place she was at does have advanced care but at $500/day.
now I'm hooked on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Charismatic cast!
I watched the crossover episode with Lower Decks yesterday and now I need to go back and watch the whole show.
I'm back from my diagnostic mammogram (which AFAICT is identical to a screening one except they have a doctor evaluate the results in real time and ask for additional images if need be). The doctor didn't see anything concerning, so rather than doing an ultrasound immediately afterward they put me on a schedule of annual mammograms in the summer and annual MRIs in the winter.
The doctor didn't see anything concerning
Woot!
and now I need to go back and watch the whole show.
I really love the whole cast, which is not that common. The actors playing Pike, Number 1 and Spock are all sexy, screen charisma champs, and the actress playing Uhuru is bringing depth to that characterization.
It's really well written and true to the Trek spirit of finding and creating solutions rather than shooting their way out of trouble. Kind of classic Trek mission-of-the-week but with some fascinating arcs.
As soon as Pike showed up on Discovery, it was like a charisma explosion. He was immediately so great.
The brilliant acting and character work in Strange New Worlds is even more amazing when compared to the other new Treks, Discovery, and Picard, in which the characters repeatedly have to do stupid things for plot reasons.
I liked the Picard I watched(only one season) but that doesn't make you wrong.
Depends if it was the third season.
Haven't gotten that far yet, no.
Love watching Stranger New Worlds. Lower Decks is what I'm finally starting after yesterday's ep. Fun.

OK, I'm feeling great about my choice to skip all the rest and watch Strange New Worlds. It is great!!
