Mom just updated me on Aunt W. She has sepsis and Covid 19. And she hasn't been eating or responding to anyone. Since she is in quarantine mom is just going to wait and see what happens.

I am back home after a couple very long days doing implementation stuff at one of my practices. Got everything on my list checked off. Used a doggy day care at the house of a stay-at-home mom with one other dog. It went very well. Now I am going to try it again the 2nd-5th while I go help my sister after a minor surgery on the 3rd. This time a college student with a huge back yard and two dogs.

I know it is silly, but this is the 3rd year when I wasn't somewhere normal to have fun on the 4th of July and it was 3 years ago that I bought a super cute flag design skort that I still haven't worn. This year my sister with surgery, last year DH with surgery, and the year before I don't even remember now the reason. Sigh. Next year.

I'd planned to mow today, but the 108° heat index threw that plan right out the window. It was even sweltering at 7 am this morning. If Code Enforcement comes after me, I'll just ask if my neighbors would prefer I drop a lit match on my lawn and see how fast a crabgrass wildfire can spread over the property lines.

Moving to Minnesota is really feeling like a good decision right now.
