"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Shir, if that man told me there was a sandstorm, I'd open the door and check.

Oh, yes, 500% that. I got so used to think of his words as lies that every now and then I find myself surprised that he's not lying all of the time. However, in this case, his re-election really depends on it. He's got nothing else to offer (I'm you're not after entitled rabid version of nationalism he's selling and thinking that only Jews should live here and have equal rights). And it was published today that five million more vaccines are on their way because we're now a data lab for vaccine research, so I'm kind of positive about this. Or, put if differently: I think there are good chances that might not be a lie, and that by May most of this country will be vaccinated.

And I may hug my mom and friends again in 4-5 months. Maybe.

I'm sorry about your friend, David.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry about your friend, David.

What is even happening?

In a little bit, Hec is firing up the DVD player so we can watch a Wes Anderson movie
The movie was Isle of Dogs, which Matilda and I saw in theaters, but JZ had never seen.

It was better on second watch for me but was a little uncomfortable at times because:

1. A major plot point is that the good guy characters at one point run forward to protest a stolen election and proclaim a revolution;

2. Much of the story revolves around a plague and creating a new cure for it.

I'm watching that on MSNBC, except the bad guy characters are lying that a free and fair election has been stolen, and they invaded the US Capitol, looking to kidnap and murder the top people in the line of succession. They had zip ties, napalm, guns, pipe bombs, tear gas, and even built a gallows.

Must be a sequel.

The makeup and costuming in your version is terrible, Cindy

What is even happening?

And the lighting, -t. The lead villain looks orange on my screen.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I got a diagnosis of ADHD today. Huh. That explains a lot.

Welcome to the tribe, Cashmere. I'd offer snacks, but I keep forgetting to get any.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yes, welcome Cash. The Wellbutrin appears to be helping when I remember to take it.
