Yeah, I know, if the extended's big enough, you probably *don't* really know each other, but it also guarantees someone's graduating(or something) always.

And I appreciate y’all letting me grump about it. I feel much better about things now. Not all things though—ND’s clients need to pay up already.

Ugh, I found out Molly has worms and got her treatment for them earlier today. Explains why she's continued to overgroom herself, to the point of raw skin. Thankfully the de-wormer was a topical liquid in a squirt hypo, so easy to administer. And I found out that Neosporin, which she miraculously didn't object to, is safe to use on cats.

Too many creepy crawlies this Spring!

my niece is having a baby shower tomorrow. I have until 10:45 AM to make a big pan of browned-butter congo bars and a big salad for 15. But I am comfy on my couch after a day of work, workout, and errands.

At the very least I need to make the batter and the dressing tonight...

I had my colonoscopy . All is well. The drinking the gatorade/mirolax wasn't bad, except the morning of for some reason I felt full and had to really force myself to drink that stuff. The headache-y, shakey feeling from the lack of calories was the worst. By the time I got to the appointment I wasn't nervous I was just ready to be sedated so I could sleep and not feel bad.

M's mom bought this thing that looks like a small crock pot but is a scented wax melt melter thing. And she got some melts for it and put a few in. Of different scents. The house now smells like 2 fragrances are fighting.

Also M's uncle ( his mom's brother in law) went to the hospital for a stent but they found a blockage and had to do heart surgery. He came out of it fine and all is well but they have custody of his cousin's son, L, who is 12 or something and he has been spending time over here during the day. It's fine, he's a nice kid. I haven't spent too much time with him because they've been playing fighting games with lots of flashes and it keeps making me feel slightly headachey.

Happy birthday, Dana! I hope that you are being celebrated and spoiled today and that the year to come is filled with delightful surprises.

I'm in Otter Lake for a few days. Flying back Wednesday. Going to a BBQ today to celebrate the 3rd birthday of my great-great-niece. Her grandparents live on a nice river and always serve up a feast. Mmmm salt potatoes.
