I’m so sorry, meara. We’ve been having Bob’s folks record appointments with his Dad's oncologist so all the siblings have the same info. if that’s something your mom can do it might be helpful if you and your sister can’t be there.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Oh my, meara. So sorry about the bad news.
Brenda, we stayed at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort for my cousin's wedding this past October and really liked it. It's a bit off the beaten path as far as access to all the attractions and casinos (other than its own not terribly impressive one), but it's excellent for lounging around the pool and for looking at sunsets over the mountains. The pool area may be the nicest of anyplace I've ever stayed, in fact.
Thanks y’all. I’m mostly hoping they can find a treatment that isn t too rough and extends her time, and hoping we are talking months not weeks, but you never know. My bff had something similar happen to her mom just over a year ago—went to the ER feeling bad, boom lots of cancer, discussing what to do, when a week later she suddenly passed. I did what I can from afar—ordered my sister a new mattress off Amazon to be delivered Monday, because the beds in that house are terrible to sleep in.
I'm so sorry the news wasn't better, meara. Sending love.
In much happier news, today we celebrate the birth of Gudanov! Happy birthday, Gud. We are so grateful for all you do for us. May you be spoiled and celebrated today and every day.
