Thanks, JZ. I honestly think food poisoning is the more likely culprit, but I'm going to quarantine until I know for sure. And while I probably won't get results until after I'm out of the quarantine time frame, if it turns out I do have it, I can use the CA Notify app to inform others.
My mom tells me that my dad is unwilling to confirm or deny whether he's wearing a mask out to his old workplace, where he occasionally works part-time after retirement. The guys out there aren't wearing masks, and the owner also isn't quarantining after a 2 week trip to Mexico. So I'm pretty mad about that right now, since my dad is so high risk and I don't want him risking his life just because he's bored.

Thanks, all. I haven't made a lot of male friends in the 21st century, so it's tough to lose one.
In a little bit, Hec is firing up the DVD player so we can watch a Wes Anderson movie
The movie was Isle of Dogs, which Matilda and I saw in theaters, but JZ had never seen.
It was better on second watch for me but was a little uncomfortable at times because:
1. A major plot point is that the good guy characters at one point run forward to protest a stolen election and proclaim a revolution;
2. Much of the story revolves around a plague and creating a new cure for it.
