Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

how much of a sleep deficit you're running.

Is this a contest? Because I’m pretty sure I’ve got you beat.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Nope, I'm happy to let you win. But it was a 1.5 hour-long meeting to accomplish nothing and to learn that our chances to accomplish something are slim.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh, Dana, that would be grim for a 20-minute meeting, but an hour and a half?

I have a fanfic just about ready to go, except that I suck at titles and am depending on Hec to read it through and find something. He's uncannily good at it.

Is this a contest?

My absence of sleep is well documented on b.org.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Car is at the shop, and I have a rental. With luck, this won't take too long...

Thrive to spite them

My cousin , who has 3 kids (twins and a boy) just posted for the youngest's birthday. He said that when his wife was pregnant with him the twins declared the baby's name was going to be Oatmeal, until they learned they were going to have a brother and then it had to be changed because Oatmeal is a girl's name. So the new name was Fire.

Note: his name is not Oatmeal or Fire. Although I do have a 2nd cousin whose older brothers were allowed to pick her middle name. They picked something reasonable, although they were older.

Always Anti-fascist!

yeah... mine are usually more like Friends titles. Once in a great while, something lands in my lap, but mostly? Eh. Sometimes I wonder if that affects my clearance, I mean, my *rejection* rate.

Oatmeal is kind of hilarious. Who knew it was such a gendered name? Not I!

A friend invited me last minute tonight to go see the Josie and the Pussycats movie. Still love it, omg. Shocked at how many of the words of the songs I remembered!! Much fun.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning and Happy Vortex Day! May this day and the year to come be filled with fabulousness!

This is also the anniversary of the first Buffista F2F in 2002. Happy memories there.

The only thing missing from yesterday was that I should have bought a Lotto ticket. Might have to remedy that today. Absolutely everything went right. Started the day by checking out the construction progress and showing DH the surprise house sign, which he loved. Then we took a shot at the septic contractors being at their office and the owners pulled in about a minute after we arrived. Had a productive meeting with them including Skinner running all over the place and a bunch of good ole boys inspecting and discussing the Tesla and talking trucks and stuff. Next stop was to my son's place where he was covering my work while I traveled and ran around. We followed him to the car collision place where they were ready for him with paperwork on top of the desk and asked him if he wanted the rental delivered or if we wanted to pick it up. Next stop Enterprise where son picked up his approved rental with only a $100 deposit. Next stop a breakfast spot where I had the best spinach & feta omelette ever. While traveling around 2 phone calls. One from my bookkeeper that one of my worst paying practices made 2 payments. Then a call from my insurance that the rental reimbursement from my accident months ago was approved and check was in the mail. Also, the charge connector and bike rack we ordered arrived early. Like everything on the list for the trip happened in the first day when we were worried if a week would be enough. The universe is totally aligned with me at the moment. Today's list: buy a lotto ticket for the first time in decades.
