In addition to a too-long workday, I have wrapped metal tape around the bases of the porch columns behind my kitchen, sealed the bottom edge of the exterior wall where water was seeping into my laundry shed with same, and transplanted a few stolons of clover into the bare excavation patch in my front yard (since it's obvious none of the thyme seeds I planted there took root). Now for pizza and the ridiculousness of 9-1-1 Lone Star. Maybe this week Godzilla will attack Austin!

I just got back from riding my bike for the first time in a number of years. It has been in storage. Anyway, the good news is I survived a couple of miles through my neighborhood park, the bad news is that Florida is very hot. Wunderground tells me it is 87F, feels like 95F. I disagree as it feels much warmer than that. Now to hydrate. My watch tells me I did a whopping 6 mph. Woot! Tomorrow I will go around 7 AM. A much better plan. Also, helmets are expensive! I went to the bike shop and maybe should have gone to Walmart or something, but I like my brain.
