I am dogsitting this weekend for my niece's Tiny Dog (tm): he's a very athletic chihuahua/terrier mix we think. Not so well trained, though, and his nails are very long. So he jumps on you constantly and ouch.
Gotta take the dogs for a walk and then go to the gym I guess. Later today I will do my semi-annual Sorting of the Clothes (move the wool into storage and break out the shorts), and make some bread, and do some more homework.
That's a hell of an upside, Dana.
Good in you, Suela. I have to do clothes sorting, too, but I can't convince myself.
Honestly, my spring and summer clothes, for the most part, are super bland and uninspiring, and working from home doesn't help with that. I'd like to downsize while really getting a few things I love a lot. It's a plan. We'll see how it goes.

Get some summer colors going! Stretch that palette!
You probably heard us discuss all the plot points and performances in pretty close detail as well. Though I don't think my and Plei's endorsements of Steve Rogers' introductory sparring scene could carry the same impact as seeing it with your own eyes...
Must be seen. Is true.
Very glad that the fire department was so good at their job, Matt. Yikes!
Timelies all!
We stopped by the birthday party for the daughter of friends of ours. Minus Mr. S, but we had been told it was ok for us to come by.(Although it was held 40 minutes from our house, so not "we were in the neighborhood" close.)
No clothing sorting chez Zmayhem--rapid turns in the weather mean that everything's in constant rotation because we might need any of it at any time. There are days when wearing a velvet gown is silly, but also days when it isn't, all year long.
ION, I visited with a high school friend, went out and thrifted (fruitlessly) at Goodwill, just like a normal person does, and then sat in a bookstore. Feel very human. I like it.

Yes, this is fantastic. This is good.
Yeah, I understand the kids like it...doesn't happen enough for me, either.
Seemingly, in London, there's a musical based on The Great British Baking Show (Bake-Off there). Sounds like a lot of fun.
