Timelies all!
We went to a concert last night.(James Keelaghan, a Canadian songwriter we've seen a number of times) We enjoyed it.

Yay! I normally make quiche, but today I think I will just make pizza because I made sauce yesterday. That counts.
Tim has a doctor appointment later this morning for his spinal curvature, so he's home and up at the same time as me, and I forgot that while I need like 3 hours of caffeine and silence in the morning, he just! keeps! talking! at! me! I would stab him, but I haven't had enough caffeine for that kind of hand-eye coordination.

Normally, I'd provide an alibi for all your stabbing needs, but that dang guy is too fucking adorbs in every way for me to do that. Sorry, my friend.
We have a stand-up at 8a at work that just started this week that is completely borking my morning pool routine... and I think the reasons for doing it can actually be accomplished with a Slack check-in thread that will take about two minutes ef everyone's time per day instead of fifteen (and leave a written trail, which can be useful for assessing one's own progress), so I'm going to make a suggestion today. I get the logic of the whole Agile thing, but... all separate projects! No sprint!
But mostly, it's messing up my mornings.
On the other hand, it could be another sign that I really just need to, ahem, lean in, to going for full-time Freelance Free-range Jen. Face the fear and do it anyway? Perhaps.

My sincerest sympathy. (although Jen does have a valid point)
In no one is going to pity me news, I have been enjoying going over to the beach by myself and having some relax and recline and enjoy the sights and sounds time. Sunday my SIL, MIL and 2 and 9 year old nephews joined me. Not at all relaxing. MIL, who I love, talked nonstop, and kids, well kids. MIL scolding them, while SIL was way more chill. I was exhausted rather than renewed.
Probably need a lot of caffeine to be able to kill him with your mind. Which is probably a good thing, in a general way, but frustrating I'm sure.
I am in the office! The drive in was tenser than usual what with the atmospheric river. It's rare that I glance at my speedometer and am surprised by how slowly I'm going on the freeway
I feel your pain, Steph. Let me eat and drink something. Let me spin up slowly.
When I was at the desk job the fact that the first human I actually had to engage with handed me food and/or coffee was very helpful.
Wake up, walk dog, avoid eye contact on subway… after an hour, food and/or coffee.
Sooo, tired. I just don't adapt well to time change. I'm going to take a nap, which means I will probably stay up too late, which means tomorrow I will be sooo tired again. This is not a great pattern. Yet, tired. Need nap.
