Epic, so much vibeage coming your way. Thanks for the catch-up.
msbelle, I'd like to have a word with your work--the whole building actually. If only I could.
Stay safe, unacustomed SF, as well as other places innundated with snowmageddonagain, winds, and wintry whatnot. Meanwhile a meany friend in NC tells me the apple and cherry trees are blooming, and the daffs and forsythia and all sorts.
askye, I know things may be different for you, but after my colonoscopy I was so loopy and hazy there was no way I could have driven, much less stood on my feet to work afterward. Maybe you should take the whole day off, if you can.
My four hours+ of blissful alone time starts now, and we even had a nice swim followed by a pleasant breakfast at our usual place this morning, so I'm awake and in a good mood already. Bonus.
What to do, what to do...
I think there will be much puttering.
Thanks. It’s been forever since the girls saw each other. We were supposed to have New Years at noon on NYE but that also had to be canceled due to illness. They just adore each other and both are so sad today.
Dang it, the kaleidoscope class is cancelled because the other 2 students in the class didn't confirm with the instructor. I feel like this is the universe telling me that making crafts is just not for me. On the plus side, if this was a sneaky front to get one of my kidneys, at least that plan got thwarted!
Maybe I need to look into blacksmithing. Does that count as crafting?
Or maybe pottery! There's a 4-week clay hand building class on Saturday mornings at the rec center in my neighborhood that starts next week. My brain just really needs something new, man.
Go pottery, choose pottery!
Okay, I'm all registered for clay hand building!
I just found out my cousin passed away this morning, before we could get our act together and visit him in the hospital. He put up a valiant fight, but the end came quickly. Survived by a wife, two kids (who are still kids), his little sister, and his mom—who's now lost two sons and two husbands.
If it needs to be said again, fuck cancer!
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Matt. What an awful loss for your and his family.
