YAY for a clear colonoscopy.

I have my consultation appointment next week. I am going to ask for options for clearing things out for the colonoscopy because I'm really worried about the liquids and weird taste or texture (even if it's a texture no one else can tell) because I don't want to throw stuff up or have an issue with it.

I'm also regretting that I scheduled it first thing in the morning because I forgot to take the day off and I'm scheduled in the early afternoon. The dr's office is like 8 mins from work ---which is about 30 mins from home. So I dont' really want to drive to the dr's office, drive home, and the drive to work but I may do that.

Gary and I went to Boskone this weekend(where we ran into Theodora) as an almost last-minute thing. We found out we could go about a week before, so we drove up Friday and back yesterday.

I discovered that Apple had changed the USB port on the new iPad mini when I tried to plug my travel charger in and it wouldn't work. I ended up seriously restricting my tablet time over the weekend.

Boring weather post: It's dropped into the 40s with winds whipping everything and everyone around, and the winds are expected to keep howling for the next couple days plus rain for 5 out of the next 7 and temps low enough that parts of the Bay Area may see snow. I did not sign on for this nonsense and would like to return it to its proper owner ASAP.

Had a very hard weekend capped by a very bad night last night. I'm so down I'm having trouble doing anything and just kinda want to die.

There are pills! You don't have to get a liquid! Apparently sometimes insurance is weird about it, but there are definitely pills now.

It is cold and windy and I am not taking the dog for a walk. (She hates windy days.) I am also not going to the gym.

Kind of temped to make a cocktail for Mardi Gras but maybe I won't.

Tuesday is the day of the week that they have a super special at a local seafood joint, so I decided we would go there after my long day. I should know better, and at this time of year, maybe going at 4 would make more sense than 7. It was at least a 2-hour wait. They have specials every day, but Tuesday is 3 lobster tails for $30 or 2 whole for $35, so my favorite day. Well, Mardi Gras, and high season here. Ha! Not happening. So I went to another one of my favorite places a block away and decided to try the creole shrimp & grits from the special board. Should have gone with one of their more traditional Florida standards. Once you have had New Orleans shrimp & grits you should never have them elsewhere. Just sayin'. But I didn't have to cook and I was with my favorite guy, so it is all okay.
