Ooh. I have seen things labeled Cheesecake Brownies although I don't know what that means in a practical sense.
Usually a brownie with some cheesecake marbled in on top. Delish!!
Oh, -t, my mother's trip was this weekend and she didn't end up taking the train after all (her host insisted on a million-dollar Uber!).
I am home sick from work, with what is turning out to be a run-of-the-mill cold, but I don't know how to handle it In These Times. I guess I could be working from home, but since I usually don't, I don't have all my stuff, but going into the office seems rude somehow?
someone on twitter said the whole halftime show was a pregnancy announcement and the dancers were sperm
Pretty much. eta: and she pulled out her own brand makeup compact and touched up her face
I loved Rihanna's halftime show!
Jesse I’d say if it’s just today then be sick, but if you feel like it’ll be going on for a few days maybe you can pop in very early or late to grab your work stuff?
Yeah, I'll take today as a sick day, and we'll see about tomorrow.....
Yeah, take the full-on sick day today.
Omg! Day before vacation at work and it is being a PITA.
My status update for ppl while I’m out is nearing on 2 pages. I’m a GD assistant.
Yikes, msbelle. That does not seem like How Things Should Be!

I did hear that BART stations near the airport were closed for some reason (like hazardous materials in the area?) recently, so that may have been a good choice. But I was also in MTZ this weekend, so hooray for proximity even if totally invisibly!
And some days, the transit gods smile upon you (thanks, Hermes!). My flight arrived and I walked quickly to the bus stop, where I waited less than a minute for my (early) bus, which pulled into the transit center at the same time as my transfer, which had a rollator-user, so I could even have walked a little slower and still gotten on.
Big medical appointment in an hour and a half, so things going smoothe is extra nice.
Timelies all!
Gary took Mr. S to the residential treatment center today. It's very quiet here.
