Pelosi and McConnell are calling Congress back into session tonight to verify the Electoral Votes. There seems to be a strong resolve not to back down to the mob in this.
They only arrested 13 people, and let the rest go.

I actually got my usual Wednesday work done in between the doomscrolling (now with more room!). Luckily it was pretty rote stuff so my lack of brain was not too much of a difficulty
