Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The middle-of-the-night hallway of a hospital is an especially bleak place to be. I hope you can feel us all sitting with you, JZ.

What Jesse said. The good part of having invisible friends is that we are always here in your phone as well. Not as around the clock or as chatty as we used to be, but still solid.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{JZ}}} I hope you can feel all the love we're sending through the interwebs to you.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

You're only alone in physical circumstances JZ, not in spirit. We're all with you.

Thrive to spite them

((JZ))) lots of love and prayers to you, and yes what Jesse said.

Thrive to spite them

I'd been kind of stumped about what to get M for Xmas and he's been talking about how he wants to display some of his comic books. So I got a couple of frames for it and then I ran to Wal Mart today and found Spider Man Into the Multiverse wrapping paper. So that feels all tied together. I'm going to have a lot of the wrapping paper left considering everything else has gone into gift bags or I wrapped things when I was at Mom's (I used amazon boxes to put stuff in and then wrapped them).

What is even happening?

JZ, every vibe, thought, hope, wish, and prayer for you — for your physical health, but for your sweet psyche, and of course for your family, as well.

Around the time you were feeling alone, I was reading Hec's Twitter DM about your health, praying for you, and searching for a GK Chesterton quote I could DM you, that wasn't heavy, but wasn't glib. In the end, I just replied to him, instead.

Jacqueline, love is real. No room can contain it. No distance can thwart it. You are beloved, by David, by your children, and by your family of origin, of course, but also by your friends in meet-space, and in this space. I hope you can remember that love surrounds you, even when your people cannot.

It seems to me, long ago and far away, that you told me Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday meant a lot to you, during a difficult time in your young adulthood. It's right here, on Project Gutenburg (PG), if you want it, or need it. If I have remembered the wrong Chesterton book, there are a whole lot more of them on PG, too. [link]

And we're all here. Right exactly here. Love you.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Many (((hugs))) to JZ and the whole crew

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

JZ and David, I'm thinking of you all the time. Can we do anything to help from afar right now? I wish I could be there to run errands or make food for you, or just sit with you. How are Matilda and Emmett holding up?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

{{JZ and David}} I'm hoping the morning has brought some physical comfort, at least.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're back home. JZ huddled with the piggies, and got hugs all around.

Now she's looking up insurance information. I have to run back to the pharmacy to get our prescriptions (dilaudid, lidocaine patches etc) which weren't ready when we were released.

So...

Ho ho ho, shifting into xmas mode.
