Back in the ER hallway. The recovery room was just for recovery. They let us stay there an extra half hour, which was lovely while it lasted.

I’ve been on vacation for about six hours. There is a blizzard bearing down at basically the exact time we are flying out. My wackadoo Russian SIL has just decided she’s not coming anyway - on a trip that was her suggestion. (My brother IS still coming, so read into that what you will.) There’s a car service picking me up in 4 hours.
I’m rolling with it. What will be will be.
