I just found a weird bump (like a sore?) on the dog’s chin. I felt it yesterday but thought it was a sticker burr caught in his fur. Grr. Now to find a vet while traveling and hope it’s nothing bad??

meara, I will be honest: dogs get weird lumps sometimes. I would recommend just keeping an eye on it and see if it gets larger. Vets are overwhelmed from what I understand.
I'm still processing the end of Andor and am wasting a lot of time watching Star Wars video essays on Youtube. It's a thing, if not a particularly useful use of my time.

This is so true. That reminds me. I never mentioned we have a new dog. We lost both our very old beagle, Fenris, and our not-quote-so-old but very large malamute mix, Odin. So we went to a local shelter to look at a specific dog and ended up adopting a totally different one. One thing we both agreed on is that we weren't going to get a puppy, so we adopted a 8-month old plott hound who is more than a handful but also very sweet.
