You got this, Jen! Do the thing!
Crazier than a workday after a 3-day weekend, is a workday after a 4-day weekend. Well, really 4-1/2 because a lot of my practices were half-day on Wednesday too.

Even with me being in on Friday, today feels hectic already.
So far my day feels less hectic than Wednesday was (everyone had sudden urgent issues that needed to be addressed before thanksgiving!) but it’s early yet….I do have a lot of pending emails
I haven't gotten to any hecticness yet, but it would be hard to overstate how much I do not want to be working at all today.
Good luck, Sheryl, I hope the new school helps.
Jen, motivation~ma!
My appointment was therapy, and I’m home now. My car should be done today. I’m supposed to be doing clean up, but I’m too busy enjoying solitude.
Enjoying solitude is more important than cleaning up!

I second that emotion!
2 more hours….. my Christmas gift to myself this year is a small 5 cu Ft deep freezer. I’m picking it up today and putting in I the basement.
Nice!
Here's my current watch list:
JZ and I are watching Wednesday and enjoying it quite a lot.
Going into it I expected it to be more like the Addams Family movies, but in reality it's very much Dark Academia Hogwarts. So if the idea of a Slytherin lead rooming with a Huffelpuff at magic school while they try to suss out the evident crush the headmistress had on your mother when they were roomies whilst digging into a Monster On The Loose and various secret societies is your thing....then this is your thing.
Jenna Ortega is fantastic as Wednesday, with perfectly pitched dark humor/snark tone but with an interesting undercurrent of Wednesday being a bit ADHD or possibly on the spectrum.
She had a dance bit at the Yule Ball, I mean Raven's Ball, to the Cramps "Goo Goo Muck" which was both incredibly funny and goofy and also very cool. My favorite dance scene on a TV show since Aubrey Plaza's dance in Legion to Nina Simone.
Here is the dance scene if you need an enticement: [link]
There's a bit of Gilmore Girls, a bit of Twin Peaks, direct references to the Addams family movies (and the TV show), and a whole lot of Hogwarts.
Gwendoline Christie as a gigantic and gorgeous Hitchcock Blonde headmistress is my favorite other element.
All three of us are catching up on Only Murders In the Building.
I am myself watching The Peripheral and enjoying that a lot.
We have yet to watch Interview With The Vampire but that's next in our queue.
Oh, and we've started to watch A League of Their Own.
