I also like cauliflower. I got a head in my CSA this year, and I roasted it with olive oil and salt, and then put parm on it. Very yum.
I shampooed my carpet yesterday and today. Which means I moved a lot of furniture around yesterday and today. Now I’m exhausted and lounging on the sofa, eating leftover Halloween candy.

Got woken up at 4:30 by Mr. S complaining of being cold.(Most of his blankets needed washing after he had an accident, and we didn't know that until it was too late to wash them last night.) Gary found a comforter for him and he went back to sleep for a few more hours. Sigh...

Ugh. Why wake up on TDOR and see that more queers got shot in a nightclub last night by a young probably-white dude?? Fuck man. This world is depressing.
It is depressing, meara. I just don't understand the hatred of people you don't know. I can understand hating an individual in your life for any variety of reasons, but blanket hatred of groups of people is beyond my comprehension. I don't understand and don't want to understand. My heart aches for the targeted groups.

What's everyone doing for T-Day?
Going to some friends’ for the day. They want to play football. I said I would cheer but will not play. Darn lesbians wanting to BE sporty instead of just WATCHING sports.
I’ve been in meetings for the past two and a half hours but once I get up to date on my emails I plan to take my car to get the chip repaired. Hoping the drop in service won’t be toooooo slow.
And at some point have to bake a pie.
