Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Dana, that's awful and I'm sorry. We're (mostly) keeping a brave face on over here, but my MiL had a chest x-ray come back three weeks ago with two big masses in her lung, and she's been through this once already.
And this is the first time I've put that in writing. Oh, goddammit.
I'm sorry, Karl.
I'm so sorry, Karl
I'm sorry, Karl. We're waiting on Wednesday to see how far it's metastasized.
I’m sorry, Karl. And Dana.
Timelies all!
I'm sorry Karl and Dana!
We had a Zoom meeting with people from Mr. S's school. As we were afraid of, they can no longer support him. We're working with an education consultant to see what the next steps are through the county, but we're obviously quite upset.
It doesn't help that Mr. S was behaving awfully to me after the nanny brought him home.(He behaved well with her.) He pulled a couple of keys off my laptop keyboard after he locked himself in the computer room.
Dana, we'll keep you and yours in our thoughts, and hope for good news.

My son and his GF are in NYC for her birthday. Have an AirBNB around Times Square or something. They drove from central NY and apparently the garage is included in the booking. I don't think either one of them have been there before (well my son has, but he was a kid with his parents). They are over the moon enjoying themselves. I've reminded them a couple of times that his aunt works for MTA and her route actually goes through Times Square among other places. I hope he touches base with her because she is a great tour guide, and loves him and such. Love seeing them living life.
