The food, not the dance accessory.
An important distinction! Though I suppose you could make tassles out of carrot tops.

Side note: Y'all should check your online accounts. We already got our stimulus check.
We got it very early with the first checks as well, so it might be rolling out at the same pace as the first time.
Of course this is the first year in the last 10 where we weren't broke after xmas and it isn't as essential for us.
Good looking out David, yep got mine.
For mine, status shows as "pending," which says to me it won't actually post to the account until Monday.
Yeah, ours came in quickly too, Hec.
Ours too.
My credit union has a message up saying that their traffic is up and if you don't have a pending deposit yet please wait until tomorrow to check again and many people won't get anything until next week. Nothing for me, yet, but I think I had to wait a while for the first check as well. And I'm not really hurting for it right now as I did just get paid. Good old end of the month paycheck beating the holiday.
My dad got his Friday.
I think I'll be receiving mine by mail, as I didn't trust the current administration with my bank account numbers for refunds and such. I'd rather take my chances on my mailman being honest.
Random (okay, topical news-related, but random to this discussion) hivemind question:
Is there a clear, succinct answer to the online peeps who insist that it doesn't matter that the soon-to-be-former administration and its supporters are 59-1 in the courts because almost everything was dismissed due to lack of standing, which to the STBFA's supporters is just a cowardly dodge that means none of the merits have ever been addressed?
That belief of theirs that the standing argument is a cheap dodge that invalidates everything feels like bullshit (and I know that every single claim of fraud that could be either proven or disproven has been investigated and disproven, albeit never in court--but why waste everyone's time on it all over again in court?), but I am a million miles from a lawyer or a Constitutional scholar and I can't articulate why it's bullshit. Is there some brief, clear "Here's why" out there?
