Younger daughter is working on getting an apartment as she has decided not to come to Minnesota with us. She's been working as a software engineer for about a year now so it feels like she's ready to be on her own. That's the big drawback to moving North. OTOH, older daughter is planning to move North in the future because of heat and rights.

I am unfuckingbelievably tired. All my parts are sore and I feel like I need about 48 hours of sleep.
Tim is definitely having the stick-the-lung-to-your-chest-wall procedure, but almost certainly not today. Not sure how long he'll have to be in the hospital afterwards, either.
Tim's brother is headed over to the hospital now, and I am getting some work with a deadline finished, and then I am going to take stuff over to Tim, try not to cry on him, and then come home and crawl in a blanket fort and do more work.

Where I work is right next to the police call center—it’s always swarming with cops. Kind of a dumb place to discharge a weapon.
