Awwww so glad Bailey is happy that her boy is home.
I just watched the FSU vs LSU game. it came down to the last second of the game. Actually past the last second since LSU scored in the last 2 seconds and they had an extra point. FSU won. FSU actually played well and did better than Iv'e seen in a long time.
But it sucks because that means that Buffistas had to watch their team lose and I hate that. But after all the struggles and drama and issues with FSU they are playing well and it's good to see them play well from start to finish and not just fold after the half.
I hope it was a good night in the msbelle household.
I was social! Real social. Eeep, inside with lots of people social. First the big firehouse event, which was outside, and pleasant enough. It ended at 10 and clearly many people drifted over to the local bar after so I went too. As would be ironic after a fire department event there were likely way more people at the bar than fire regs would like, but anyway. Socialized with old friends, new friends, and even strangers. Played pool on the 7' bar table. Poor owner was by herself but managed. She'll be wiped out today. Stayed there until 12:30! It felt good to be around people, now I am hoping they were healthy people since conversation meant shouting.
The interview I did last month for one of my cancer support groups has been released. I put a link to the video in my profile.
Too many "ums" and "ahs," of course, but overall I think it went pretty well.

Matilda packed herself up and was picked up for an all day outing at the beach with her friend Iris's family. She wore my dad's old mailman shirt as beach cover and her special SF Giants/Hogwarts cap (in Ravenclaw colors and sigil). I also got to kiss Iris's dog Cupid, who we dogsat during the summer. A happy dog kissy reunion!

I did my morning run, and grabbed groceries and iced latte on the way back. JZ is editing in the garden apartment (which is cooler than the rest of the house).
I may be taking a book out into the garden to read it in the hammock. I may need a cold beverage to accompany.
