What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So sorry, Epic. Heartbreaking.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Epic, I'm so sorry.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, Epic.

{{{{{Epic}}}}} I'm so very sorry. My heart goes out to all of you, especially the kids.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Thank you, everyone. It's all so unreal, I keep being surprised by it.

Thanks for asking, Shir. I'm doing OK still, physically. I had chemo # 4 (halfway!) last week and continue with pretty much the same symptoms, just incrementally stronger, which I'm told is to be expected as it builds up in my system. And I still have the surgical drain - Tuesday was 8 weeks. I've got an appt next Monday for it. I'm afraid it still won't get taken out but it's now been over a month since I had a dr look at it so I figure I'll go in just for a check in, even if I don't think they'll be taking it out yet. It's weird - everyone knows cancer is scary as hell, but I don't feel like I was properly prepared for what a complete nuisance it all is.

askye, glad you're doing some better. Baby steps! Hope the kitty is improving.

Sorry about all the covid going around. Will we ever be (relatively) free of this little bastard?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Epic, I'm so sorry.

Over the past week I managed to catch up on all the Natter I missed since... April? Maybe earlier. Please consider all the appropriate vibes and wishes given, though belated.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...to be expected as it builds up in my system.

Yeah.

Hang in there.

Thrive to spite them

I'm so sorry Epic about your cousin. It's such a hard thing to deal with.

Kitty is doing better. Took his medicine like a champ. Wants out but he isn't going out.

Finally heard from the claims guy about the payments for the hours I can't work. I had to send multiple emails. The 2nd to last one had 2 issues and he ignored that. I finally sent a message with a very clear header and the body of it was like...I need to know about this so I can figure out if I have to take out a loan to cover the difference or see if family can lend me money.

They will help me out but I was pushing the desperation. So he finally responded with information I needed to send him
