I’m sure they’re worth a fair amount of money but I don’t want to sell them in any way that they remain in circulation. Especially not in fucking Wisconsin.
Maybe I can send them to Ukraine somehow? Otherwise I’ll just watch and wait for a buyback I guess. Ugh. In the meantime they’re filling up a shelf in the closet and I resent that!
Maybe try calling local police non-emergency line and asking them?
Yikes, y'all, that is A LOT of family drama to unpack. Best of luck to all of you.
I have heard of the sending to Ukraine thing happening but I have no idea how you'd do that either. Totally understand your resentment!
Here's a potential resource, and a buyback scheduled for August [link]
OK, I'm calling it a day, anyone emailing me after 4pm on Friday surely does not really expect a response.
I don’t know what to do with [them]
Handguns or shotguns or rifles?
First step, make sure they all have trigger locks or breech locks on them.
Handguns. Most of which are in cases that I’ve only opened to confirm that’s what’s in them.
Thanks -t. I could probably drive to Madison!
In other news, I was on the board for a rescue last year and it stressed me out like whoa so when they asked today if I would rejoin for next year I said “Love to!” SMH
Timelies all!
Wow, a lot of family drama going on.
Of course you did, brenda! Mouths, saying things.
BTW, I decided to try the happy hour at the little pub type things couple blocks from my house that I haven’t been to since the before times. It’s nice! Not least because right now it’s just the female bartender, me and another female customer in here. Was really crowded last time I was here, so I’m enjoying the relative quiet (not literal quiet, there’s music playing and basketball with no sound on 3 TVs which I guess is actually quiet but there’s a lot of stuff going on). Also an interesting selection of beer that I will only be able to try a little of today. But now I know how easy their happy hour is, so I’ll be back!
