I'm getting the idea that the whole premise of insurance is to tell us "we'll pay if something bad happens to you" and then not paying when that thing happens.

Still in waiting room. Over 7 hours now. Procedure was supposed to be 20 minutes. It took 2 hours? Per the board anyway. But it has been 4 hours since he went in for the simple 30 minute dealio. Going to ask at desk again.

I woke up in the middle of the night convinced (maybe from a dream?) that I absolutely have covid and was freaking out at 2am. Thankfully when I woke up at 7, I felt fine. Tonight, the Pride game for our womens soccer team!

Enjoy the game! The yelling must be so disconcerting.
DH is in a LaZBoy snoozing. Some of the delay was computer issues with lab results. Then delay for complex surgery ahead of him. Then his was complex. But he chatted with surgical resident who was from Germany at length and feels good about outcome.
He’s doped and I’m resting.
