I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh -t, I hope it works out well.

JetBlue screen says I am over Georgia. Good legroom, but seats don’t fit bodies. No way to nap so drank wine instead. Listening to my book.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We were in Ann Arbor and what should pull up next to us but a self driving car. Light changed and off it went driving away down a busy city street COMPLETELY EMPTY WITH NO DRIVER. Equal parts cool and unsettling.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whoa. Living in the future.

Yikes. Not quite ready. I use my auto drive but can’t in city traffic. It doesn’t behave like a driver.

Waiting to take DH for surgery. He is being pokey. Supposed to be there at 9 for 11 AM procedure. They think it is an airport.

Thinking good thoughts for DH, Laura... and for you! Hope the pain/nausea are still at bay this morning.

I did a day trip to a Philadelphia and back yesterday for my ring design appointment (so cool... CAD usage, amazing, young, happy, cool, talented people and vibe to the place), and I got to visit with my niece (who advised at the appointment) and her person, go to great Mexican with them, and see their house. Oh! And dropped of a family herloom for them. A good day!

All with parking the car right in front of their home and the rest just walking to places. Man, city living has its perks sometimes.

Thrive to spite them

Most people at work are unmasked. Co workers and customers.

I don't always wear a mask. I have some but I think maybe I'm more sensitive to the heat than I was before or something....because it just wears me down and I seem to sweat more. Well and it's been really really humid which is also an issue for me. And then I'm just physically and mentally worn out. The worsr day i think i pushed myself close to dehuration even drinking electrolye water. And its just 4 hours and i was that bad. So that sucks and I hate that I'm taking chances with Covid and with other people .

I'm probably making the worse choice in the longer run but it's the only way I can get through the day without being completely drained.

Our wings are not tired.

That sounds like a mast lovely day, Jen.

I hope you can find some more breathable masks, askye. Changing them or rotating a few during the day can help too.

Sitting here masked at hospital waiting. Stayed masked at airport. Tested before I flew. I really hope to stay untouched by this.

A little nausea this morning but really minor. Had graham crackers and hot chocolate in waiting room. I love graham crackers so that was nice to find.

Best wishes, Laura.

Y'all, my mortgage escrow payment went down, I can almost cover my mortgage and student loan payments out of one paycheck! So exciting!

Wooo!

The painters are here again. We had almost gotten the place into a semblance of order and now it's mega chaos again as all of Matilda's furniture is in the hall.

Last night we went out with Emmett & EM taking them to Alembic. Because Matilda's underage we had to eat in the outside parklet which was pretty cold, but the drinks and food were excellent and we all had a fun, laughy time. EM has been around less since she and her partner both retired, and he's been chasing the ski slopes through Idaho and Montana, so it was good to see her.

Matilda is getting used to having her own place in the Garden Apartment and dyed her hair last night and got up at 6am to prep for work. At 15 she's getting a jump on the Single Girl In the Big City life experience.

We've got a weirdly complicated weekend coming of social responsibilties and whatnot. It's not going to feel restful. The highlight for Matilda is that her boyfriend is returning after being gone for a month.
