Happy Birthday David, happy belated birthday JZ, happy even more belated birthday, Plei. Happy birthday (or possibly anniversary, or both) to Deb Grabien and Nic, who don't really come here any more, but just in case.

I feel like I want to wish Teppy a happy birthday, but a little voice in my head is saying her BD is in the fall. Screw it. Time is meaningless. Happy birthday, Teppy, too!

I do get it, I do, in that Pierre is Peter is rock, and noire is black. If there is more, I do not get that.

Thanks, Cindy! It was last week, and I got a hammock for the back yard! It's an ND-unapproved hammock with a frame, but we only have 1 (extremely large) tree in the backyard, so a frame was necessary.

My brother was quarantined with Covid on his birthday earlier this month, which I just remembered, so I just checked in with him to see how the recovery is going. He’s fine, the only reason I bring it up is that on the course of the txt conversation he told me he’s playing in a band with someone named Igor Brezhnev and wow, what a name! Our dad is named Igor but he says it the other way so that’s a challenge and I am finding that all Ypung Frankenstein hilarious.

Also, I am a lightweight! One cocktail and one glass of wine with dinner and I’d better walk home. Fortunately that’s just a couple of blocks.
