I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Chris. I can just imagine. Just hearing the coverage on the radio while I ran errands today was an awful lot and the geographical closeness must make it all worse on several levels.

Oy, Dana. Do you have any kind of trip insurance that could help defray expenses? I think I heard recently that that was a thing to be aware of.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sorry, Dana.

Sorry msbelle.

I have my laptop back. Pretty quick turnaround, too.

Also, this weekend is Balticon, live for the first time in a couple years. Keeping Mr. S amused is going to be a challenge.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, Chris, that must be rough.

I'm all the way over here and I just put on Great British Bake-Off because it's all I can deal with.

I watched 5 (or maybe 6) hours of Ted Lasso on Tuesday night because it was the best thing I could think of to forestall just totally losing it.

No, no trip insurance, but it's fine. If I decide I need to change my flight, American will do it without a fee. Luckily (?) I brought my work computer with me. But should I fly home Tuesday? I wouldn't want someone who knowingly had covid to come on my plane and sit next to me.

Do NOT travel if…

You have COVID-19 symptoms, even if you recovered from COVID-19 within the past 90 days or are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines.

You tested positive for COVID-19...Do not travel until a full 10 days after your symptoms started or the date your positive test was taken if you had no symptoms.

Ok, I am very satisfied with my cheap as hell e-bike that folds up small enough to fit in a Prius trunk but I just discovered that Vespa makes an electric model that only costs 15x as much and I am wistful.

Yep. So pretty. I have wanted a Vespa since Lou Reed did that Honda commercial and that one calls to me so strongly! I will have to work on arranging my life to make owning one practical.
