The sedation was supposed to handle the claustrophobia, but I cannot handle being stuffed in something the size of a toilet paper tube for an hour unless I'm truly unconscious.

The imaging place has larger MRIs, and I have successfully managed in one of those without IV sedation. Though I'm getting two scans this time, so it will take twice as long.

I am posting from my iPad, as the screen on my laptop has gone dark for no apparent reason. I have an appointment with my local Apple store on Sunday. With luck it won’t be anything too big. This is a fairly new laptop.

I need a new screen on my iPad. It's entirely unusable currently. Somehow the shattered bits are *selecting* things at random. I miss reading on it. I buy the smallest phones (SEs for the win!) I can so tablets are my readers of choice.

We have been without A/C for 6 days and the part arrived tonight so hoping that DH can fix it tonight. I can deal during the day, but sleeping without A/C is torture. Current temp is 82 but of course feels much warmer with our humidity. The high today was 97 and I felt every degree of it.

I got a shipment of clothes today and none of them fit, which was annoying. So I returned them all (old navy) and spent a bunch more money there and at target….can’t decide how many pairs of shorts I need. Right now I only have jorts and I’d like a pair of linen or twill ones but I keep hating them when I try them on.

I've been going to my MIL's in the heat of the afternoon to work. With the dog it complicates life. We do have a pool which I use to cool off. Here's hoping he gets it fixed this morning. He's gone to the dog park this morning to get his mileage in first, which I agree with as he really wants to get down as much as possible before his hernia surgery on the 1st. The less he weighs the easier recovery will be.

I got a couple of new bathing suits and skorts and I just love them. Well the bathing suits are boring, but the skorts are super fun. This is my 4th of July one - [link] and this one I wore yesterday and it was super comfy, if warm, but then again it was 97! [link]

I ordered my day of the ceremony wedding ring (it's the band I'll wear when I don't want to wear the engagement ring/band that I have yet to design... well, work with a designer. Cool place in Philly that my niece used and insists I look into. They do cool stuff!)

It's tungsten with rose gold overlay or whatever... plating?... and abalone inlay. Pretty sure it's a man's ring and 100% don't care. I have big hands and longish fingers, so dainty doesn't work for me. It's so pretty! Very happy.
