Good morning. I had pie for breakfast.

Mm, pie.
When come back bring pie.
Homemade key lime, may I add.
Nice! I'm having a granola bar. Not quite as nice.
So sorry for your loss, Windsparrow.

Yum! The baker that Marti the Medical student introduced me to (Tart to Tart) just closed last month after being in business for forty years, and they had the best key lime tart. I'm still in mourning.
I had breakfast too early, so I'm already hungry for lunch, and this is not helping.
Windsparrow, I'm so sorry for your loss. I went to a wake and a funeral this weekend for different people, and that was a lot.

Emmett and I are going to a memorial for his little league teammate who died in a ski accident at 25. It'll be a sad reunion with all his old state champ teammates.
I am not at the beach, which is deeply wrong. However, what is deeply right is that this morning I was listening to the Ologies podcast about fandom — specifically, part 2 of a 2-part podcast about fandom — and Will the Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby is mentioned in a discussion about fans banding together to do good stuff (specifically, buying plane tickets, which I assume was for Nilly, although the podcast didn't mention specifics).
Also, the Ologies podcast is just really fucking good in general. (A 10-hour drive to vacation meant that Tim could make me listen to all his favorite podcasts.)
