I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry to hear that

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

When I fly to Vegas this fall I'm anticipating having having Reverend Kane from Poltergeist 2 shout "You're gonna die in there! All of you! You're gonna DIIIIIEEE!!!" in my mind the whole way.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Thank you for the reminder to order masks and tests before I travel in a couple of weeks.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

(Although I guess on that note, hi! I’ll be in LA next week. Work, but I’m staying over Friday night with no current plans other than a nice dinner on a patio somewhere. Downtown though.)

Brenda, text me the details! Drew will be out of the country, but I will be around.

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

My Dad was discharged today and will be getting some home health PT. And he’s still a giant asshole who can go fuck himself. I am dreading going back to Ohio tomorrow.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary and Mr. S got home around 6:30 yesterday. The rest of the evening went fine, though Mr. S went to bed a little later than normal.(He did stay asleep and slept until 7 this morning.) Gary had to go in to the office today, so I stayed home with Mr. S. Played Legos for a good portion of the day. Mostly a good day.(We let him go outside if he was masked. Unfortunately, that meant the neighborhood kids didn't want to play with him. He then rode his bike all over the place, and I had a hard time getting him to go in the house. Sigh...)

Thrive to spite them

My PCP does not prescribe my ADHD meds to anyone over 40.

I wasn't even DIAGNOSED until I was in my 40s.

And I just did some quick googling but it looks like there is an increased risk of a heart attack or stroke but only in the first month or so of taking medicine after that within a year someone taking medicine for ADHD is slightly more likely but I think it was like 5 out of 100 instead of 3 or 4 out of 100.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

It's like how when I turned 40 no one would prescribe me the pill anymore because of an increased risk of stroke, even though I had none of the risk factors (never smoked, migraine without aura, consistently low blood pressure). So instead I get to have migraines every three weeks or so thanks to hormones. Yes, I feel much healthier this way.

Thrive to spite them

Gud- even if the law only applies to larger sites it's still could cause massive problems.. because sites like Twitter or Facebook would have to figure out who is in Texas and who isn't and apply the Texas law only to those who are in Texas. I can't even wrap my head around how that would work.

I had PT today and more of an assessment by the PT staff but not the big 4 hour one I need. Although the PT therapist did have a client who just had one of those. anyway the PT's thinking at this point is my difficulties are much more cognitive related and while there are things they can do I really need to have the neuro ophthalmologist appointment to see about my eyes but also maybe a neuro psych eval to check out my cognitive function and she is going to put all that in the report they send to worker's comp.

I think ti's been 2 weeks since my follow up neuro appointment, or close to it and I'm not close to getting the assessment I need to go back to work.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Sending health and safety and protection and mildest-possible-course vibes everywhere to everyone. I hate this. I hate that it isn't over and that so many people are out there pretending that not only is it over, it never really happened in the first place (I keep thinking of that Aimee Mann song from Magnolia, with the lyric "It's not going to stop/'Til you wise up").

And, Sheryl, I can only imagine how beyond stressed and stretched thin you and Gary and Mr. S must be. I wish there were something I could do to fix it for all of you.

I also kinda want to punch sj's stupid doctor.
