Thrive to spite them

Shir. I' was reading that and just...I'm floored. I've kind of followed various issues people have with AO3 and I had read this and I...people can be so horrible.

I hope everyone who is being targeted is ok.

And I hope the people who are doing this get in a lot of trouble. Also that ppl who hate Ao3 will just make their own archive and go away.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, no, I hadn't heard about that. How awful!

Yeah I had seen that this morning and was shocked and dismayed. That’s so shitty. Damn. Wtf is wrong with people??

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The beach is gorgeous, I had sushi for lunch, Tim came out as genderqueer to the brother and SiL who he wasn’t already out to (and they responded wonderfully ❤️), and my dad is slowly improving (still in the hospital; will almost certainly be sent to an inpatient rehab center when he’s ready to leave the hospital, because he needs a lot of PT for one leg).

Now I’m going to go stick my feet in the ocean.

Yay for beautiful beach! I'm so glad Tims brother and SIL were great about knowing he's genderqueer.

Also glad your dad is doing better.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Day 1 of I don't know how long at home with Mr. S.(Currently waiting for someone from Occupational Medical Services to call me and tell me what I need to do) Gary's work told him not to come in this week, though he's still working from home. Ugh.

Compassionately intolerant

Editing folks! One of my people is looking for help in editing a book they are writing. It's described as 'a self-help book on surviving addiction.'

Does any one of us do that sort of thing...or know where to look for one?

Steph, yay for all the excellent news. What lovely outcomes. I would so love to be at the beach right now. Please enjoy some sand and rest for Cagney and me!
