Sheryl, I can only imagine how frustrating it will be enforcing isolation on a child. Much ~ma for patience and perseverance.
Distracting myself this mother's day by paying attention to myself. Went to the dog park first thing this morning and got a good walk in while the dog ran. Then I went home and swam for a half hour or so to cool off from the park. Then I went and took a yoga class. All before noon!! I had to go to MIL's house because her phone wasn't charging. (bad block) We decided to do pick up dinner tomorrow. I go see her most days since she is watching my cats.
Eating leftover dinner that I made last night because it was yummy. (chicken piccata with broccoli and spinach) Watching basketball, and the guys playing pool, and reading my book.
In not news, I'll probably get an IM from one son at some point, maybe even tomorrow, because he is oblivious. The other son I don't expect to hear from and haven't seen in over a year, and have no expectations of that changing. DH being DH texted both of them to remind them and younger one just replied No. He wouldn't be contacting me. Parenting sucks, so I am making the most of the rest of my life where people don't suck. Note that I am getting on very well with elder son, he just won't notice right away since his head is not where most of humanity is most of the time. But at least I know he cares and loves me.
eta: Probably will delete the pity party part of the post later as I really hate to wallow when I have so much good in my life.

Eldest son called and talked forever. Also, he got me a super fancy keyboard the same as his with the cool lights and lots of programable keys and stuff because I had expressed admiration for his. He has it sitting up there for when I get there in a week or so.

I went to a soccer game. We tied, but the freaky thing was it was like 90% chance of rain yesterday and said cloudy and so on…it was blazing sun the whole time. I’m probably sunburnt and wished I had sunglasses! So that was nice. Some vitamin D
