move out and draw fire

Oh shit - tons of ~ma for him, Zenkitty.

Seconding the lawyer rec. When the hospital screwed up my gall bladder situation and almost killed me, my surgeon offered to testify (we opted to not sue and went another direction to address it), so there may very well be nurses or other staff that will support the case.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yikes, Zenkitty! Tons of ~ma for your brother-in-law.

I always buy so much from TCG and ltc’s stockings that they end up with a gift bag each of things that should have fit in their stockings.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My aunt's father fell and broke his hip and I guess all of that is going better than it might have gone (still not great), but the hospital lost his teeth! It's literally always something.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You didn’t eat the oranges, dcp? We always had a satsuma in the toe and one of those single serving cereal boxes poking out the top (the only time we had sugary cereal) and that was Xmas breakfast for the kids before mom& dad got up.

My grandmother always put underwear, socks, and toronne in the stockings.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Nope. I like orange juice. I like tangerines. I hate peeling oranges, and there were never enough oranges to make squeezing them for juice worthwhile.

If they were in the bowl, others in the family who actually liked eating oranges could enjoy them.

Oh, no, Zen. So much surgery and recovery ~ma to your sister's partner. And strength to her. Jesus, what the hell?

My sister does the same thing, sj. And, in fact, I got too much for just his stocking, too, so there will be overflow. Heh, one set I ordered was, I thought, small bottles of different hot sauces. Nope. Big ol' bottles. That will have to just get wrapped now. I need to go back and check what I paid for that! I was being pretty budget conscious, I thought.

Ah, well, satsumas are super easy to peel.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, y'all. I asked if I could go stay with her and she said emphatically NO, she doesn't want to risk giving me Covid if they get exposed. It sucks, I want to be with her, but she's right, and also it would just give her another thing to be worried about.

She can't think about a lawyer right now, but I'm going to be pushing for it. The doctor who fucked up the stent has also managed to "disappear" Sam's X-rays. Lil's on the phone with his office 'boutta go full Karen. How does a doctor's office lose X-rays?

Because books.

My grandmother used to tell me stories about their Christmases as kids, and it fascinated me they got oranges in their stockings, and were thrilled about it. They seemed so ordinary to me. But not in 1920! It was total Little House to me, which I loooooved.

Zen, that's crazy about about your sister's guy. I hope they can treat it really aggressively. Jesus. I feel for your sister.
