I know food is my answer to everything, but what about sending them either some treat kind of thing or a restaurant dinner?
We'll meet up with Emmett on xmas eve (in the early afternoon) in the same parking lot in Marin (midway between us) and hand off presents. I'll give him a tray of lasagna too and some cinnamon rolls to make on xmas morning that that's how we're going to roll.

Aw, my Williams-Sonoma package turned out to be assorted fancy olive oils from my parents. What a great Hanukkah present! Not coals to Newcastle at all, I happen to be pretty much out of olive oil as well.
