(Stopping quickly to send buckets of ~ma in Epic's and Toddson's and Sheryl's way, and general ~ma as needed to everyone else. Also, happy birthdays! and happy holidays to those who observe them).

Hi Shir! Happy wishes for you as well. How are things going with you?
::waving to Shir:: So good to see your pixels!
Lots and lots of fresh ~ma to Sheryl and to Epic, to add to the fully mature and flowering ~ma already headed out to Toddson.
And happy birthday to beekaytee and beth, two of the very best b's.
Hi Shir!
Happy Birthday beth b and beekaytee!
Last night I bought plane tickets and made hotel reservations for Mom & my trip to Vegas this fall. So exciting! So expensive! So looking forward to it!
Hi all!
I'm busy. Thankfully less busy cause Passover holiday, but still got stuff to do (I don't know how this keeps happening, I swear). Also have feelings about stuff, which I'm told is just part of being human but I still dislike. Mostly just trying to leave my job ASAP, but for something much, much, much better, so I'm allowing myself to be picky (because I can!) while also being very frustrated with the current place and really wanting to leave. It's not a great combo, y'all.
But you know, holiday is good. Not having to be at work is good. So... careful yay?
I hope that yesterday being such a quiet day here meant that everyone was enjoying holiday festivities with loved ones, or a having a nice peaceful Sunday
JZ and Matilda got dressed up for Easter. Then Matilda and her friend Mia got dressed up an entirely different way to go to Japantown for the Cosplay festival that's part of the Cherry Blossom Festival (which usually doesn't overlap with Easter).
I did my standard Sunday ramble through the Panhandle, stopped and chatted with my favorite comic book clerk at Comix Experience, and on the way home I stopped at Alembic for a drink. There I wound up having a fun conversation with two visiting Canadians (from Calgary!): Sheila and Matt. I got to give them lots of tips for things to see in SF and they were excited to try Zoetrope Cafe and 826 Valencia.
So... careful yay?
A motto for our age.
Mia got an Easter basket (well, an Easter gift bag filled with Easter candies and a chocolate bunny) and said she'd never had an Easter basket before (she'd go to egg hunts and there were goodies in the plastic eggs and she'd get to keep those, but never her own basket).
Also have feelings about stuff, which I'm told is just part of being human but I still dislike.
Ugh I hate that. But also good luck with the being picky for a new job—it’s hard but important!
I went to a dog class yesterday to try to learn how to get my dog to behave on leash (he’s fine off leash) but he was a big weirdo to the trainer lady (usually he likes people, but her he was VERY skeptical of despite treats!) which made it a little hard for her to give recommendations (small class of one dog at a time in the class but all reactive to other dogs or to people, and I was like “no really normally people isn’t a problem!”
It is a Monday afternoon and having to listen to someone else haltingly give training I wrote is sapping my will to live.

That sounds excruciating.
Sometimes I think about how if I were willing to do more stuff I could change jobs and move up in my org, but that would almost guarantee I'd have to go to more meetings so, no.
