I'm so glad that Toddson was safely checked in upon and taken care of.
You know....my singleton Buffistae, it would be well if everybody had a check-in buddy. It distresses me that we didn't know about Ed or Connie's passing into well after it happened.
So, somebody and some way for people to check in if they've been offline for a while.
And, a relative/friend that can be contacted.

ION, after 7 months of pestering our landlord to do something about our 50 year old bathtub which is corroding, and falling apart, they finally brought in the tub specialist.
He walked in, saw our tub and said, "Oy yoi yoi!"
So, we're getting a new tub. Or rather, Emmett & Kalena will be the beneficiaries of a new tub once they move over here.

David, I think that's a great idea. Happy to wrangle, or support a wrangler, or modify the Buffista Master Mailing, Contact List -- there are several folks who can do that.
I got an email from Toddson, and they continue to take care of her. I feel weird sharing specific details, but I did offer my visiting, patient-advocacy, take-out-bringing, transportation-providing or anything else services via whatever method is best for her to use. Bonny was planning to call later today and may have an officially sanctioned medical update to share.
She maintains her sense of humor, I can confirm. All the ~ma in her direction is appreciated as well. The one thing I do feel comfortable sharing is that they need to up their pain control game, so, you know, direct your ~ma accordingly.

My sister is in touch with various buffistae through the Bee or directly, which actually does make me feel better. I do think nostalgically sometimes about the days when a day or two off posting had us all calling out the dogs. The origin of Beep Me, if I’m not mistaken.
