Timelies all!
Welcome Willow!
Today's adventure involved going to the kosher supermarket to get Passover things. Which was crowded and chaotic, but I survived.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Welcome Willow!
Timelies all!
Since I already took the time off, I'm home today through Wed. It's Mr. S's spring break, so I've been dealing with him a lot.(Gary is out of isolation, but hasn't retested yet.) I'm exhausted.
There's no real point in retesting so soon because you can get positive results long after you're no longer contagious. Protocol now is isolate for 5 days and mask religiously for 5 more.
Welcome, Willow!
{{{{sj}}} I'm so sorry, hon.

Yea or nay?
I don't actually hate it? I certainly like it better than Comic Sans. If CH is as dyslexic-friendly as CS, I'd consider getting it.
It has not been an easy day for us today - we had to put our beloved sweetheart of an elder queen kitty Stella to sleep. She was clearly in pain and couldn't find relief, so it was the right thing to do, but still hard. She will be missed.
Oh, I'm sorry, juliana
I'm so sorry, juliana.
I'm sorry, Juliana, that is sad news.
It's super windy/gusty in San Francisco today. So much so that it blew out the temporary plexiglass covering the open window frames (while they're getting fixed) at our new house. Much running around before lunch but the window guys came over directly from a job at Mill Valley to put up some plywood (with extra reinforcement).
We bought some new furniture this weekend and we're trying to figure out if we need to rent a truck to get it and I thought, "Oh, well, Emmett is moving down this week and will rent a van, so I'll just try to coordinate that with him. We can do a quick run from the furniture store after he unloads his bed and 60 inch TV."
So I called him up today.
"When are you guys moving down this week?"
"Tonight. I'm renting the van at 5pm, loading it up and driving it down, then driving back to return it tonight."
"Oh, well then I guess we can't use your van to get our furniture since the place is going to be closed before the van is empty."
"Sorry."
"That's okay. Do you want me to help you unload it when you get here?"
"No, that's okay. Kalena's already there."
"She's already in the garden apartment?"
"She's already moved in!"
"Okay....you guys are going to have to coordinate stuff and communicate with us a little bit more."
I guess they're a little excited to get the hell out of Sonoma.
