Ugh.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
WTAF
BTW, I got a "WTAF" IM from a coworker the other day, so I really feel like our relationship is growing!
I'm not being unreasonable, right? Their whole concern is overuse of opioids, fine, but they're coming at it from a punishment approach rather than a management approach.
I don't think you are being unreasonable. It doesn't sound like patient care is the top priority and that seems like enough of a reason to go somewhere else if there is another option available.
Yay for Hugo nomination!

Not at all unreasonable, IMO.

Absolutely.

I don't think you are being unreasonable at all.
That said, I think this might be coming from a CYA and ultimately legislative approach not necessarily their personal perspective. How they communicate the policy requirements to patients is entirely up to them, so I'd be considering changing psychs as well. Even if the new one has testing policies in place.
I don't think it's unreasonable. Plus it's your health care so if you aren't comfortable with it that's enough reason to change doctors.
I'd do the same, Dana.
I am Moderna boosted. Just waiting my requisite 10 mins. Poor pharmacist has a bum knee, but she has to kneel to get the right angle to stick people. No fun!
I think I will buy myself a small chocolate treat on the way out.
So, just a quick update on the SO -- he is scheduled for surgery on 4/25. A bowel resection to excise the area where they found the mass in his colon. Initial biopsy came back benign, but the surgeon is dubious. Needless to say, they will biopsy the whole shebang once removed. All positive waves of best outcomes ~ma are super appreciated. He is doing well, all scaries considered.
